We are delighted to introduce the 2017 Frontiers in MOC & TIM Conference, which will be held in Zurich, Switzerland.

The conference will take place at ETH Zurich, one of the leading universities in Switzerland. ETH has recently been ranked 9th in the world QS ranking for Business & Management, as well as ranked 9th in the THE ranking. As a university of science and technology, ETH Zurich is committed to the study of a diverse range of subjects, which allows knowledge to be shared and combined in original and future-oriented ways. The sixteen departments cover a broad academic spectrum, while all kinds of strategic initiatives, competence centers and networks encourage cross-disciplinary cooperation.

The Department of Technology Management (D-MTEC) is particularly proud to sponsor and support this conference venue as a place where research is interdisciplinary: it borrows from strategy, organization theory, economics, psychology, and cognitive neurosciences and relies on qualitative and quantitative methods. An integral part of D-MTEC's mission is to support organizations in their quest to create new technologies, products and services and to improve their innovation capabilities: the management of technology- and innovation-driven enterprises is at the heart of the department.

The 2017 Frontiers in MOC-TIM Conference will offer you a unique opportunity to engage with scholars from MOC and TIM that find their joint interests at the crossroads of these two Divisions of the Academy of Management. An outstanding range of contributors support this conference through their engagements to stimulate a lively set of discussions, thought exchange and a platform that may lead to new collaborations between scholars from the MOC and TIM Divisions.

We hope to welcome you in the summer of 2017 here in Zurich and engage in what will be an exciting set of sessions on highly topical issues in research. Through this venue, we aim to advance our collective scholarship and to build a stronger worldwide community of MOC and TIM scholars.
